Key Concept Connections

Here are our key concepts used in our Exhibition unit:                                Lines of Inquiry:

Function: How does it work?                                                    - An inquiry into the process of design
                                                                                                - An inquiry into different forms of design
Causation: Why is it like this?                                                    - An inquiry into how passion leads to action

Form: What is it like?

Function connects to LOI 1, because we want to know how the design process works and how it functions, and also why the design process if like this, which is why we also chose the key concept, causation.Following what is the design process like? How do designers feel that experience, which is the key concept, form. For our LOI 2, we found out that form is also a key concept that connects to it, because we want to know what are different forms of design like? How do they work? Which is also function. Then, when we find find out how it works, we ask ourselves: why is it like this? Which is the concept, causation.

This is why my Exhibition team and I agreed on these lines of inquiry and key concepts.
