When I was little,
I took my first steps,
I wonder if Mom or Dad made bets about who
I would walk too,
as I took my first steps!
I wonder how I felt about it,
how I felt my feet move,
as I took my first steps.
Did I wear shoes?
Who won and who loosed at the bets,
as I took my first steps.
But, now I know and remember back then,

Poetry was one of my favorite units. I had the ability to write about some of my memories that I have had when I was little! This assignment helped me write a free verse poem. Free Verse poems mean that it doesn't have to rhyme or it basically doesn't have any rules to it!
